Florida. As you know, Gainesville is home of the University of Florida. This gives access to
state of the art medical facilities when needed, as the University operates Shands Hospital (a
teaching hospital). Being a teaching hospital, the latest in technology is always available. Yet,
since Misty Meadows Home is just outside of Newberry, we are in a more rural setting. This
provides for a peaceful relaxing atmosphere, which means more comfort and less stress on
